Qualifications:
Knowledge
- Specifications, Industry Standards
- Ability to read plans and details
- Woodside Contract scope and expectations for contractors
Certifications (have or obtain)
- OSHA 30 card
- Clark County Dust Card
Description:
Land Development
- Scheduling
- Adhere to published schedule
- Maintain schedules in real time
- Adhere to published schedule
- Set priorities for development work
- Improvement Plans utilized to manage community
- Clean & controlled job site (it is a work zone, not a war zone)
- Coordinate contractors (on time, controlled overlap, field meets, etc.)
- Coordinate professionals (civil, survey, geotechnical, etc.)
- Manage Field Extras when necessary
- dollar limit approval
- communicate with Land Manager, Land Coordinator & VP Land
- dollar limit approval
- Anticipate issues, plan ahead
Governmental compliance
- Ensure job site safety
- SWPPP (NDEP) program adherence
- Dust Control (Air Quality) contact
- Permits for Development work (Grading, wet, dry, etc.)
- Inspectors, entity (manage in conjunction with your contractors)
- Inspectors, quasi-governmental (SW Gas, NV Energy, etc.)
- Barricade plans, as needed
Bond Management
- Manage Internal Turnover walk from Land to Construction
- Entity Pre-Final Checklists and Paperwork
- Initiate R&R process timely
- Inspector Walks
- Contractor coordination
- Entity release coordination
Teamwork
- Improvement Plans maintained on-site
- Coordination with onsite Construction Superintendent during development
- Walk site with Construction Superintendent for ‘turnover’ after developed
- Work closely with Land Manager, Land Development Manager & VP Land, we are a team
Salary Range:
