2. PREPARING TO PURCHASE YOUR NEW HOME.
Before you make your decision, your Sales Counselor can help you get a general idea of how much home you can afford. As you narrow down your choices, you should pre-qualify for a mortgage loan. We will put you in touch with a mortgage consultant from our network of preferred lenders to discuss your situation and the loan types that are available to you.
When you find the one home that makes you say "This is it," you are encouraged to place a deposit. You will meet with your Sales Counselor to review and sign the purchase contract and get answers to any questions you may have.
When you enter escrow on your home choice, your mortgage consultant will keep you informed about any terms and conditions required for financing and monitor the process for you every step of the way.
3. PERSONALIZING YOUR NEW HOME.

4. BUILDING YOUR NEW HOME.
Construction is the builder's job, but you play an important part in it. You'll start by meeting with your Sales Counselor and Construction Superintendent for a final review of your floor plan and options. Then, after electrical, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning utilities are installed, your Superintendent will walk you through the home and help you understand the layout and location of those systems before they are covered with drywall. Toward the end of the home building process you will have a Homeowner Orientation, also known as a Final Walk-Through. This is an opportunity for your Superintendent to familiarize you with the many features and functions of your new home and check for any items that require attention.
5. MOVING INTO YOUR NEW HOME.
As soon as your home is completed and ready for occupancy, you will be asked to sign a package of mortgage and escrow documents. After signing, your loan will be funded, and your mortgage and title will be recorded with the county. Then you will receive the keys to your new home and start living your dream.
